Epsom & Ewell, Surrey · KT17 – KT19
CCTV, door entry, access control and electric gates for homes, shops, offices and yards across Epsom, Ewell and the edge of the Downs. Every system starts with a free survey and is fitted by our engineers.
Epsom is famous for the Derby, but most of the borough is quiet residential streets, a compact town centre and pockets of light industry. CCTV installation in Epsom therefore starts with what you are protecting: a 1930s semi in Stoneleigh, a shop near the clock tower or a unit on one of the industrial estates.
Regency Security has fitted cameras, door entry, access control and electric gates across Surrey since 1999. We survey your property for free, show you what each camera will see and give you an itemised written quote before anything is booked in.
Much of Epsom and Ewell was built between the wars, and the roads around Stoneleigh, Ewell Court and West Ewell are lined with semis and short terraces with shared side passages. Towards Woodcote and the edge of Epsom Common, houses are larger and sit further back on longer drives. With direct trains to Victoria and Waterloo, plenty of homes are empty for most of the working day, so the questions we hear most are about parcels, vans on the drive and side gates.
On the High Street and around the Ashley Centre, retailers and restaurants need sharp coverage of tills, entrances and stock rooms, with footage good enough to hand over if there is an incident. Offices near the station usually want CCTV alongside a door entry panel at reception. On the Kiln Lane and Longmead industrial estates the priorities shift to yard cameras, ANPR on the entrance and barriers for vehicles.
For access control in Epsom we install Paxton Net2 and Paxton10. You can issue a fob to a new starter, limit a contractor to certain hours or cancel a lost card in seconds, and the system keeps a record of every door opened.
Racehorses are still trained around Epsom Downs, and the yards around Langley Vale and on the Downs have very different needs from a family home. Tack rooms, feed stores and horseboxes hold valuable kit, and staff are on site from first light.
Homes on the roads around the racecourse benefit from the same thinking, especially on race days when traffic and parked cars build up. Electric gates in Epsom are a practical way to keep your drive clear, and as a Gatesafe registered installer (#2187) we fit every gate with the safety devices the standards require.
Epsom has a lot of flats above shops, Victorian houses split into apartments and newer blocks around the town centre. Door entry in Epsom often means swapping a tired audio handset for a video panel from Videx, Commtel or Entrotec so residents can see who they are letting in. If you already have CCTV fitted by another company, we can service it, replace a failed recorder or add cameras instead of starting again. We are also SafeContractor approved, which helps if your managing agent or landlord needs vetted contractors.

FAQs
Yes. We fit weatherproof cameras that cover yard entrances, stable rows, tack rooms and horsebox parking, with recordings you can check on your phone at any hour. We can add keypad or fob entry to feed and tack stores, and automate yard gates with the photocells and safety edges that Gatesafe standards call for.
Yes. Most interwar houses have soffits and a loft we can run cables through, so cameras sit under the eaves with very little wiring on show. Where a side passage is shared with next door, we angle the camera to cover your side rather than your neighbour's garden.
Often not, but it depends on height and position. Under national permitted development rules, gates beside a road used by vehicles generally need permission if they are over 1 metre high. Listed buildings have extra controls, and in conservation areas such as Ewell Village it is worth checking for an Article 4 direction. We flag anything at the survey, and your local council's planning team can confirm the position for your address.
Yes. We can replace an old audio handset system with video door entry from Videx, Commtel or Entrotec, so residents see callers before opening the door. Fob access can be added to the communal entrance, and a lost fob can be cancelled straight away.
Yes. Our engineers work across the whole of Epsom and Ewell, including Stoneleigh, Worcester Park and Langley Vale, and in nearby Ashtead, Leatherhead and Banstead. Call 01293 862865 to arrange a free survey.
