Worthing, West Sussex · BN11 – BN15
From seafront flats on Marine Parade to bungalows in Goring and Durrington and longer drives up towards Findon, we handle CCTV installation in Worthing alongside door entry, access control and electric gates. Every system is designed after a free survey and fitted by our engineers.
Worthing runs for miles along the West Sussex coast, from Ferring and Goring-by-Sea in the west to East Worthing and the Lancing border, then rises north through Broadwater and Findon Valley towards Cissbury Ring. Seafront apartment blocks, whole streets of bungalows, the shops around Montague Street and the industrial estates to the east all ask something different of a security system, so CCTV installation in Worthing is never a one-size job.
We have fitted CCTV, door entry, access control and electric gates across West Sussex since 1999. A free survey comes first, so the system we quote matches your building, your budget and the way you live or work there.
Worthing has long been a popular place to retire, and many of the apartment blocks along Marine Parade and West Parade are home to older owners. A good video intercom lets the person indoors see and talk to a caller before deciding whether to open up, which makes turning away cold callers far easier. We choose panels with large, clear screens and simple buttons, and where the system supports it, family members can see callers on their own phones.
For whole blocks, we replace worn audio panels with modern door entry in Worthing and add Paxton fobs to main doors, car parks and bin stores. A fob that goes missing is simply deleted from the system, so nobody has to change a lock.
Goring, Ferring and Durrington have whole streets of bungalows and chalet bungalows, while central Worthing and Heene have older terraced and Victorian houses. Homes on the front also take a battering from salt and south-westerly winds. For Worthing homes we typically fit:
In a bungalow the cables can usually run through the loft, which keeps the finished job tidy and quick to install.
Shops, cafés and salons around Montague Street and the rest of the town centre need cameras that record clear faces at the door and the counter, and a recorder that keeps footage long enough to be useful when something goes wrong. On the industrial estates in East Worthing and at Lancing Business Park, the priorities change:
Further north, homes in High Salvington and around Findon village sit on larger plots with longer drives, where electric gates around Worthing make daily life easier and keep the drive closed while you are out. We install sliding and swing gates with FAAC, CAME and BFT motors and can add a video intercom at the gate. Findon lies inside the South Downs National Park, so if your entrance might need planning permission we will raise it at the survey. As Gatesafe registered installer #2187, we test every gate's safety features before handover.

FAQs
Yes. A video intercom shows the caller on a screen inside, so your parent can speak to them and decide whether to open the door at all. We choose models with large screens and simple controls, show them how it works at handover and, where the system supports it, add your phone so you can see callers too.
Yes. Low eaves put a camera within easy reach, so we fit vandal-resistant domes that are hard to knock out of position and angle them to cover the front door, drive and side gates. Cables normally run through the loft, which makes a bungalow one of the neater homes to wire.
They will if they are chosen for it. On exposed frontages we use weather-rated cameras, corrosion-resistant brackets and sealed connections. Salt still builds up on the glass over time, so we recommend a regular service to clean the cameras and check the seals and recorder.
Yes. We cover yards, loading doors and parked vehicles with 4K and PTZ cameras, log number plates with ANPR at the entrance and fit keypad or fob access on staff doors. If you already have a system, we check whether it can be extended before suggesting anything new.
Possibly. Inside the National Park, planning is overseen by the South Downs National Park Authority, and a tall gate beside a road or a new entrance to a listed building is more likely to need consent. When we survey the entrance, we will say whether a quick check with the Park Authority makes sense before any work is booked.
