Woking, Surrey · GU21 – GU24 & KT14
CCTV, door entry, access control and electric gates for Woking homes, apartment blocks and businesses, from the town centre out to Horsell, Pyrford and West Byfleet. Surveyed, supplied and fitted by our engineers.
Woking is one of Surrey's busiest commuter towns. Fast trains to London Waterloo mean plenty of homes sit empty from early morning until evening, the town centre keeps adding apartment towers, and the industrial estates on its eastern side have vans coming and going all day. The right CCTV installation in Woking depends on which of those describes your property.
We have fitted CCTV, door entry, access control and electric gates across Surrey since 1999. Every Woking job begins with a free survey, so your quote reflects the building and the way you actually use it.
If you leave for the station before seven and get back after dark, most of what happens at your home happens without you. We set cameras to alert your phone when someone walks up the drive or round to the back, while ignoring passing cars and swaying trees. You can check a clip between stops and see exactly who left that parcel.
Woking's housing varies a lot, and so does the right camera layout:
Gardens that back onto the Basingstoke Canal towpath or the edge of Horsell Common have a rear boundary that walkers pass every day, so a camera on the back gate is often worth more than one at the front. We choose lenses and angles so you cover your own property without filming next door.
The residential towers at Victoria Square and the newer blocks close to the station have changed the look of the town centre. Shared entrances, bin stores, bike stores and car parks all need controlled access. For access control in Woking blocks we fit Paxton fob systems, so a managing agent can cancel a lost fob straight away, and video panels so residents can see who is calling before they let them in.
Converted houses and older blocks often still have a crackly audio handset in every flat. We replace those with video door entry from Videx, Commtel or Entrotec, reusing existing cable routes where that makes sense.
Woking's town-centre shops, cafés and restaurants trade into the evening, and offices near the station hold equipment worth protecting after hours. On the industrial estates around Sheerwater and in Byfleet, a typical installation includes:
Private roads and long drives in Hook Heath and Pyrford suit electric gates well. We install sliding and swing gates with FAAC, CAME and BFT motors, add a video intercom at the entrance and link it to your phone, so you can let a delivery in from the train. As Gatesafe registered installer #2187, we safety test every gate before handover.

FAQs
Yes. Every system we fit comes with a phone app for live and recorded footage, and we set up motion alerts that focus on people and vehicles rather than leaves or shadows. Mobile signal on the line comes and goes, but clips are stored on the recorder at home, so you can watch them as soon as you are back in range.
Yes. We replace old audio handsets with video entry and add Paxton fob access to main doors, bin stores, bike stores and car parks. We work with managing agents and residents' associations, and can often reuse existing cable runs to keep disruption down.
Often not. Gates more than one metre high next to a road used by vehicles usually need consent, and different rules apply to listed buildings. We look at your entrance during the survey and tell you if it is worth checking with the council before you go ahead.
Yes. We fit 4K and PTZ cameras covering yards, loading doors and parked vehicles, ANPR at the entrance and keypad or fob access for staff doors. We can also add cameras to a system you already have, as long as the recorder supports them.
Usually, yes. We service and repair systems fitted by other companies, so we can often reset the recorder, set up the phone app in your name and replace any cameras that have failed. If the equipment is too old to be worth saving, we will tell you honestly and quote for a replacement.
