London · South & south-west London and beyond
CCTV, door entry and access control for apartment blocks, HMOs, offices, shops and homes in London. We work most often in the south and south-west boroughs, a short drive from Surrey and Sussex, and take on projects across Greater London.
London property asks a lot of a security system. One street can hold a purpose-built block of a hundred flats, a Victorian house split into bedsits, a parade of shops with offices above and a gated mews. We provide CCTV installation in London for all of them, working most often in the boroughs nearest our Surrey and Sussex patch: Croydon, Sutton, Kingston upon Thames, Merton, Richmond upon Thames, Wandsworth and Bromley.
Those boroughs are a short drive away, which makes surveys and return visits easy to arrange, and we take on projects elsewhere in Greater London too. We have installed and maintained CCTV, door entry, access control and gates since 1999, and each project begins with a free survey and an itemised written quote.
Managing agents, freeholders and residents' management companies tend to call us for the same reasons: a door entry panel that has failed, fobs nobody can account for, parcels vanishing from the lobby and bikes going missing from the cycle store. We install video door entry in London blocks using Videx, Commtel and Entrotec panels, linked to a handset or monitor in each flat and, where the system supports it, to residents' phones. Paxton fobs then control the main entrance, car park gates and bin and bike stores. A lost fob is cancelled in the software instead of paying for new locks.
Communal cameras cover entrances, lobbies, post rooms and car parks, with signage and a clear rule on who can view and export footage.
Much of south London's housing is Victorian and Edwardian terraces, many now converted into flats or let as HMOs. Landlords want a front door that locks behind every tenant, a record of who comes and goes, and no new keys cut each time someone moves out. Where a shop or office sits below flats, the commercial and residential entrances need keeping apart. Typical work in these buildings includes:
From office buildings near East Croydon station to independent shops in Wimbledon, Kingston and Richmond, commercial clients want clear footage of faces at the door and the till. They also need access control in London offices that copes with staff, cleaners and visitors who keep different hours. We fit Hikvision and Dahua cameras recording to an NVR, with remote viewing for managers, and Paxton Net2 or Paxton10 to manage doors across one floor or a whole building. Trade counters on the Purley Way and industrial units in Mitcham often add ANPR at the car park or yard entrance, so every vehicle is logged.
Car parks beneath and behind apartment blocks, gated mews and commercial yards all benefit from automation. We install electric gates in London, along with rising-arm barriers, using FAAC, CAME and BFT equipment opened by fob, keypad, intercom or ANPR. Larger homes in Coombe, Wimbledon and Chislehurst often pair new gates with cameras covering the drive. Each automated gate is set up and safety-tested to Gatesafe standards, under our registration #2187, before we hand it over.

FAQs
Very likely. We work most often in Croydon, Sutton, Kingston upon Thames, Merton, Richmond upon Thames, Wandsworth and Bromley, and we take on projects across the rest of Greater London. Send us your postcode and a short description of the job and we will arrange a free survey.
Often, yes. Several modern video door entry systems run over two wires, so the existing cabling in the risers can sometimes be reused. We test the wiring at the survey, then quote for reuse or a rewire with the reasons set out, so the freeholder, managing agent or residents' committee can make the decision.
Usually whoever manages the building, such as the freeholder, the managing agent or the residents' management company. They decide what is recorded, how long it is kept and who can view it, and residents should be told the cameras are there. We help by aiming cameras at shared spaces rather than into flats, and by supplying the signage.
Yes. With Paxton Net2 or Paxton10, each tenant's staff can be limited to their own floor or suite, the main entrance can follow building hours, and reception or the building manager can add and remove users. Visitors can be let in through a video intercom at the front door.
Yes. Each shop keeps its own recorder, and the app shows every site together, so you can check deliveries, opening up and closing time from wherever you are. Staff can be given live view only, while playback and exporting footage stay with you.
